X Factor rejects Jedward are apparently set to record a duet with Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler, according to reports today (May 23).

The Irish duo, who recently came eighth in the Eurovision Song Contest, have allegedly managed to secure a duet with Tyler for an unnamed new track.

A source told The Sun: "Jedward never thought someone like Steven would join forces with them and on such a massive song. But it looks likely to happen. The excitement has sent them into a spin."

The duo have also signed up to be the new faces of the biscuit brand Oreo cookies in Europe after their appearance on Eurovision.

Tyler meanwhile has recently made the headlines for the various revelations in his new autobiography Does the Noise In My Head Bother You?, which was published last Wednesday (May 18).

Most startling among the revelations, first picked up on by ABC News, was his admission that he'd tried gay sex, but just the once as he "didn't dig it."
