Taio Cruz still happy to work with Chris Brown despite Rihanna assault
Although singer says he's 'disgusted' with Brown
Taio Cruz has said that despite being "disgusted" with Chris Brown, convicted of assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year, he's still happy to collaborate with him.
The singer told BBC News that he had submitted songs for consideration on Brown's next album, and wasn't put off working with him despite the assault.
"I don't condone what he did," he said. "I was disgusted by it. I'm sure most of his fanbase are women who will have turned their back on him – and rightly so – but I don't know.
"He's still an amazing musician, he's still really talented, he's still an amazing singer. Everyone makes mistakes and as long as he's learnt from it, in terms of music, I'm definitely down for writing music for people."
Chris Brown played a comeback gig in New Jersey on October 27.
