Take That musical set to open

The Take That the musical ’Never Forget’ is due to open later this week.

The show will kick off at Canolean Millennium Cymru at Wales Millennium Centre tomorrow (July 20).

'Never Forget' is due to play in Glasgow, Manchester, Stoke-On-Trent and Edinburgh before hitting London’s West End towards the end of the year.

On Neverforgetthemusical.com, the show is described as “a feel-good comedy about love, friendship, ambition and betrayal, featuring the incredible catalogue of music by Take That.

“Set in Manchester, the follows the rollercoaster journey of our young hero ’Ash’ and his best mates in the pursuit of their dreams. Along the way each of them discovers that pretending to be someone else can sometimes help you find out who you really are…”

As previously reported the band distanced themselves from the project in March, saying: “The band would like to state categorically that this production is being undertaken with neither their involvement nor their endorsement.

“They would wish their fans and the general public to know that this production is absolutely and 100 per cent nothing to do with [a]Take That[/B].”
