Gary Barlow backs Take That-based musical

Take That's Gary Barlow has tacitly praised the musical 'Never Forget', which is based on his band and made its London West End debut last night (May 22).
The band had previously distanced themselves from the production, which they have not officially endorsed. Although record company EMI had licensed the band's songs for the production, the group had insisted that the show was nothing to do with them.
However, since hearing reports from friends about the show, Barlow has softened his stance. Although he said he would not go to see the show himself, he said that he had heard positive feedback about it.
"At first I thought it sounded horrible," he told BBC News. "But the reports I've seen have been really good so there must be something good in it. I'm just worried that they're better than us.
"I don't really know a lot about it, but the people I know that have been really had a good time."
