Take That have added yet more dates to their forthcoming European tour after selling more than a million tickets in a day.

Tickets became available to the public at 9am (BST) this morning (October 29), but selling agents have struggled to cope with demand.

"We are speechless, truly and utterly shocked," the band said. "This is the most amazing news for all of us. To sell one million tickets in a day is mindblowing and we think we'll be in shock for a few days! We want to thank everyone who has bought tickets today and look forward to seeing them next year."

Additional dates at the City Of Manchester Stadium (June 8, 10, 11), Cardiff Millennium Stadium (15) and London Wembley Stadium (July 6, 8, 9) have been added to the tour.

Take That tour 2011 tickets are now on sale for the following UK dates:

Sunderland Stadium Of Light (May 30, 31)
