Take That score highest first-week album sales since Oasis' 'Be Here Now'

Take That have topped the UK album charts today (November 21) with the highest first week sales for 13 years.

The band, who have singer Robbie Williams back in the ranks for the first time in 15 years, saw their album 'Progress' sell almost 520,000 copies in the past week - the biggest opening numbers since Oasis' 'Be Here Now' in 1997. The record outsold the rest of the Top Ten put together.

The five-piece comfortably beat Rihanna's album 'Loud', which enters the charts at Number Two, while in the singles chart their song 'The Flood' remains at Number Two.

In a big week for boybands, JLS are a new entry at Number One with their Children In Need single 'Love You More.

The Top Ten UK albums are:
