Take That's Mark Owen has said he'd love for his band to play Glastonbury this year.

When asked if he'd be up for a trek to Worthy Farm, he told The Sun: "I love Glastonbury. I would go there, definitely. We’re all meeting up in a few weeks, so we’ll see."

Yesterday, Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno seemed to let slip that The Rolling Stones will be playing this summer's Glastonbury. The band's chief songwriter was speaking about Kasabian's headline slot at Hard Rock Calling, which takes place on the same June weekend as Glastonbury. "I hope ours is the most talked about performance of the weekend," he said. "But that would be a miracle because The Rolling Stones are playing Glastonbury."

Fleetwood Mac had also been rumoured to be making their debut at Worthy Farm this year, with Stevie Nicks telling NME that she would love to do it. But this now seems unlikely after they announced a set of US tour dates over the same weekend. The band will play Spokane, Washington on Saturday, June 29 and Portland, Oregon on Sunday, June 30 as part of the extra leg of their mammoth US tour. There is a small chance the band could play the Friday of Glastonbury but have clearly ruled themselves out of performing on the Saturday and the Sunday.
