New York emo-rockers also give props to Rage Against The Machine
Taking Back Sunday covered The Beatles during their set on the Main Stage at Leeds Festival today (August 23).
The emo-rockers launched into a version of 'I Want You (She's So Heavy), from the rock legends' 1969 album 'Abbey Road' at the close of the track 'A Decade Under The Influence'.
The cover came in the midst of a career-spanning set by the New York band, which included 'Error Operator' and 'Where You Want To Be'.
Singer Adam Lazzara later took the opportunity to give props to Rage Against The Machine, who headline the Main Stage tonight.
"You guys gonna turn it up for Rage? You better!" he said.
Taking Back Sunday played:
'Error Operator'
'Liar (It Takes One To Know One)'
'Where You Want To Be'
'One-Eighty By Summer'
'Number Five With A Bullet'
'Cute Without The 'E' (Cut From The Team)'
'A Decade Under The Influence'/'I Want You (She's So Heavy)'
'What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost?'
'Make Damn Sure'
