Tame Impala react to winning NME's Album Of The Year Tame Impala Tickets
Kevin Parker says he "questioned everything" while making 'Lonerism'

Tame Impala's Kevin Parker has spoken to NME about his record 'Lonerism' being named number one on NME's Album Of The Year list.
Parker spent months painstakingly assembling the album on his own in various places around the world, but admits he finds it difficult to be completely satisfied with his own work. "You never really finish an album," he says, "you just run out of time."
The Australian psych rocker adds: "When you're making an album, it's very difficult to still be in love with it at the end in the same way you were when started it. By the end of 'Lonerism', I was doubting everything. I worked myself into a state of mind where I was questioning everything."
However, Parker also says he now believes the album is his best work: "I had that moment with every one of the record's songs where I'd feel like it was the best thing I'd ever written. I still think it's the best bunch of music I've made so far."
