Tame Impala have inspired a pizza recipe in their native Australia.

The Tama Impala Pizza features in pizza chef Theo Kalogeracos' latest cook book, Theo & Co. Take 2; The Search for the Perfect Pizza Continues. Kalogeracos is the owner of the Little Caesars Pizzeria in Perth.

The recipe – via The West Australian – features haloumi cheese, lemons and green impala peppercorns.

Tame Impala's 'Lonerism' topped NME's Album Of The Year list last year.

Kevin Parker of the band said to NME of the album: "When you're making an album, it's very difficult to still be in love with it at the end in the same way you were when started it. By the end of 'Lonerism', I was doubting everything. I worked myself into a state of mind where I was questioning everything."

However, Parker also said he now believes the album is his best work: "I had that moment with every one of the record's songs where I'd feel like it was the best thing I'd ever written. I still think it's the best bunch of music I've made so far."

Tame Impala play London's Hammersmith Apollo on June 25. To check the availability of Tame Impala tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
