4AD-LIGHTED!

TANYA DONELLY releases a new album next month.

Donelly was a major player in the 1990s US indie dynasty which revolved around the 4AD label, currently back in the headlines following the Pixies reunion.

A founding member of the seminal Throwing Muses with her stepsister Kristen Hersh, Donelly went on to form Breeders with Pixies bassist Kim Deal before leaving after one album to enjoy mainstream success with Belly.

'Whiskey Tango Ghosts' is her third solo album, and is released by 4AD on July 26.

The tracklisting is:

'Divine Sweet Divide'
'Every Devil'
'Whiskey Tango'
'Just In Case You Quit Me'
'Butterfly Thing'
'My Life As A Ghost'
'The Center'
'Golden Mean'
'The Promise'
'Story High'
'Fallout'

She plays two UK shows at London's Bush Hall on July 27-28. For ticket availability, click here or call the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663.
