The band’s equipment stolen

Tapes 'N Tapes have had their tour van broken into in Australia. .

The band were touring in support of their debut album ’The Loon’ when the incident happened in Perth last Thursday (December 14).

Posting on their Myspace the band wrote: “Only a few hours before we were scheduled to fly home from Perth, we got robbed…Our tour manager left the van unattended for about 10 minutes, and when we came back, someone had pried open a window and stole a lot of our personal belongings.”

The band found that although not much of their equipment was gone, much of their personal items were.

“One of our passports was stolen, two mac laptops were stolen, one digital camera…one blackberry, two cell phones.”

The band suggest that anyone who comes across the stolen goods get in touch via their Myspace.
