TATU MANAGER ARRESTED DURING VIDEO SHOOT

Ivan Shapovalov is charged with disturbing the peace after roping in 200 girls for the event...

Tatu’s manager was arrested yesterday (May 15) on charges of disturbing the peace in MOSCOW’s RED SQUARE.

Ivan Shapovalov, 36, had arranged a video shoot with 200 girls yards from the Kremlin. He told the teenage extras to cavort and kiss in front of Lenin’s tomb and the church of St Basil.

The teenage fans caused a ruckus, tussling to get close to the chart-topping pop duo, and the police received complaints about noise. Shapovalov had previously had two requests to film in Red Square turned down.

The video was supposed to be screened during next week's (May 23) Eurovision Song Contest, with Tatu representing Russia, but filming had to be ditched after the disturbance.
