Taylor Swift was the big winner at last night's iHeartRadio Awards, while Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik performed live.

Swift won four awards on the night, including the prize for Best Tour, handed to her by Justin Timberlake. During his introduction speech, Timberlake poked fun at US Presidential candidate Donald Trump and said "Some people are trying to build walls – not naming any names. That was a political joke!"

Praising Swift, he also added: "Word on the street is she’s in the pole vault at the Olympics in Rio and she’s favored to win."

In addition to best tour, Swift also picked up album of the year for '1989' and female artist of the year. While accepting the award for Best Tour, Swift thanked three of the 48 guests who joined her during the '1989' tour in the shape of best new artist Fetty Wap, 'triple threat' winner Selena Gomez, and The Weeknd, who won R&B song of the year for 'Earned it'.

Performances on the night included Justin Bieber, who sported dreadlocks and performed an acoustic version of 'Love Yourself' plus a fully choreographed rendition of 'Company'. Meanwhile, Zayn Malik played 'Like I Would', from his Number One album 'Mind Of Mine'.

Other performances on the night included Demi Lovato, Iggy Azalea, Fetty Wap, Meghan Trainor, G-Eazy and Joe Jonas' DNCE.

Chris Brown performed live and also collected the R&B artist of the year award. “As you all can see, I tend to not have a filter sometimes, and I go off on a lot of people, but the music stays the same, and the direction is positivity,” he said during his speech.

Finally, Pharrell Williams presented U2 with the innovator award for “redefining – no, actually, reinventing music and culture for decades.”

U2 praised their presenter while standing by the virtues of rock n' roll, with Bono saying: “I guess a band still using bass, guitar, and drums all those years after rock and roll was invented doesn’t sound so innovative,” said U2 frontman Bono, “but it turns out rock’n’roll has more to do with spirit than flesh … from where we stand, Pharrell Williams is the essence of rock’n’roll.”
