Team GB athletes and David Beckham cover Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' – watch

Medalists Jessica Ennis, Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton celebrate their success with the Queen classic

Team GB athletes including Jessica Ennis, Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton have recorded their own version of Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' – watch it above.

The clip shows the athletes miming along to the Queen classic, donning brooms and table tennis bats for a celebratory air guitar. David Beckham also stars in the video, acting as its musical director.

Ennis won the gold medal for the Heptathlon, while cyclist Sir Chris Hoy picked up two golds. Now-retired track cyclist Victoria Pendleton scored both a gold and silver medal in her last ever Olympics, while Louis Smith picked up a silver and bronze medal in gymnastics. Rower Pete Reed, who also features in the video, won gold in the men's coxless four.

The London Olympics came to a end last night with a closing ceremony finale celebrating 50 years of British music. Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye performed Oasis' 'Wonderwall' - the first time Gallagher has sung the track live since Oasis split up in 2009. Muse performed their official song for the London 2012 Olympics, 'Survival', with the help of a huge choir. Other performers included the Spice Girls, Kaiser Chiefs, The Who, Pet Shop Boys, Jessie J and Brian May.

'A Symphony of British Music: Music For The Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games', an album containing music performed last night, is now available digitally via iTunes.
