EVENING SESSION FANCLUB

Teenage Fanclub are to help celebrate a decade of Radio 1's EVENING SESSION by performing a live set which will be webcast by www.bbc.co.uk/sessioninscotland at 10pm tonight (October 5).

The gig will be beamed across the web from Aberdeen Lemon Tree, and a band insider promised it will include "favourites old and new", with some of the songs from their new album 'Howdy!', which is released on October 16, being given their first broadcast performance.

Sticking with the web, Alan McGee's new label's website www.poptones.com is also to exclusively air some new material from 'Howdy!' as part of its latest web-radio extravaganza, which will be posted on the site by the end of this week.
