Television guitarist to make band departure

Richard Lloyd leaves to concentrate on 'Radiant Monkey'

Television guitarist to make band departure

Television guitarist Richard Lloyd has announced he is to leave the seminal art-punk quartet following their final performance at New York's Central Park on June 16.

Lloyd has attributed the decision to his desire to concentrate on latest solo album 'Radiant Monkey', which he has compared to Patti Smith's seminal 'Horses'.
