Test Icicles deny split rumours

But their future is still uncertain

Test Icicles deny split rumours

Test Icicles have denied that they are to split in March.

Rumours have been circulating online that the trio would disband following their current touring commitments, which include a ShockWaves NME Awards Show supporting Nine Black Alps at London’s Hammersmith Palais on February 24 and a March appearance at the South By South West festival in Austin, Texas.

However guitarist Rory Atwell has rubbished these claims saying: “We are on a sold-out UK tour then onto sold-out dates in Europe and America with a new single and UK tour in April.”

However Atwell did hint that the band have no plans after the summer, adding: “Maybe [we'll do] some festies, after that who knows, depends if anyone’s still interested!”

Test Icicles’ April UK tour will visit:

Glasgow Garage (April 18)
Sunderland Manor Quay (19)
Manchester Academy 2 (20)
Coventry Coliseum (21)
London Astoria (22)

Currently on tour in the UK, Test Icicles will play the Oxford Zodiac tonight (January 31) before heading to Stoke Sugarmill (February 1) and London’s ULU (2).
