Jonathan Liebesman is behind the camera for the sequel to the remake
Jonathan Liebesman has signed up to direct the sequel to this year’s Clash Of The Titans remake.
Louis Leterrier, who oversaw the first film, announced in April he would not be involved again.
He had been criticised for converting the movie to 3D in post-production rather than shooting in the format. Liebesman will now shoot the sequel in 3D from the outset.
The director was responsible for 2006’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and, more recently, political thriller The Killing Room.
Meanwhile, Liebesman‘s much anticipated alien invasion flick Battle: Los Angeles is due for a cinematic release in March next year.
