Frontman has gone blonde
The 1975 frontman Matty Healy has changed his hair again, unveiling a new blonde ‘do.
It was recently reported that the Manchester band were teasing their new album ‘Music For Cars’ – with members giving their social media accounts a ‘white out’. Their manager Jamie Oborne also hinted that the move was part of the band’s “next phase”.
After Healy polarised fans by chopping off his luscious locks and dyeing them purple, he has now shared a snap on Instagram of him as a blonde.
“2018 NEW THE 1975 FUTURE NOW MODERN EXPERIENCE WOW,” Healy’s caption reads.
Fans have been reacting to Healy’s blonde look. One fan said she had “never seen such beauty”, while another “cried” upon seeing his new hair.
Previously, fans kinda lost their minds about Healy’s short-lived purple hair:
It was a stark contrast to the black and white shots that the band have recently been posting, which appear to show ‘Music For Cars’ in-the-making.
Although an official release date for the record is yet to be confirmed, Matty Healy has constantly stated on Twitter that it will be released in June.
Meanwhile, The 1975 surprised fans by recently releasing ‘DH00278’, a live album recorded during their shows at London’s O2 Arena in December 2016.
