DEXTA - KING OF THE DECKS?

The AVALANCHES founder member DEXTA is aiming to be crowned World Champion when he competes at the DMC/TECHNICS WORLD DJ CHAMPIONSHIPS at LONDON's HAMMERSMITH APOLLO next month.

The Australian, who was runner-up at last year's event, is hoping to pip DJs from 32 nations, including Argentina, the Czech Republic and Mauritius, to the crown. The competition runs over September 22-23.

Last year's winner DJ Craze will not be competing in the solo event, preferring instead to roll into the team challenge. Craze will be combining with Scratch Perverts Tony Vegas and Prime Cuts plus Infamous from the US in an anglo-American team.

The event was held in the now vacant Millennium Dome last year.
