Beach Boys legend returns to revamped venue in 2007
The Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson is to play six nights at the newly revamped Royal Festival Hall in London next year.
The venue has been closed for massive redevelopment, and will reopen in June next year.
And Wilson will be at the venue between September 10 and 16 to perform a new song suite, as well as several Beach Boys songs that have never been performed live.
Wilson a big fan of the venue – in 2002 he performed the 1966 Beach Boys classic ‘Pet Sounds’ in full at a string of shows, and returned in 2004 to do likewise with the ‘Smile’ LP.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Monday (January 29).
