The ex-Beatle's festive art-work will be in shops soon

A Christmas card designed by John Lennon, originally released in 1965, will be re-printed and available to buy in shops.

The cards, featuring a fat budgie on a yellow background as well as Lennon’s signature, were originally available in Oxfam shops.

The charity has now reprinted the card and it will be on sale in their shops in the UK this festive period, after Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono gave permission for the reissue.

See the NME Office Blog now to have a look at John Lennon’s card and leave a comment with your opinion on his art work.
