'The Beatles: Rock Band', the video game featuring the songs of the Liverpool legends, will be released on September 9.
The game will be released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii consoles in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other places around the world.
Players will be able to play simulated guitar, drums, bass and vocals using existing 'Rock Band' hardware.
In addition, new hardware modelled on instruments used by the band will be available to buy.
The release will mark the first time the music of The Beatles has been licensed for use in a video game, after receiving the thumbs up from Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr Yoko Ono, wife of the late John Lennon, and Olivia Harrison, wife of the late George Harrison.
Songs to be included in the game are yet to be revealed. See Thebeatlesrockband.com for more information.
