THE BEATLES first ever officially-endorsed website is to be launched to coincide with the release of their compilation album '1' on November 13.

The site - www.thebeatles.com -
has had exclusive input by the remaining Beatles - Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr - as well as John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono.

It will also include rare archive footage, 24 original promo films, classic filmed shots such as their last appearance on the roof of the Apple building, and a quirky 'Day Tripper' function, which roams into psychedelic territory, letting viewers see the visuals on the site enhanced by various visual effects.
