The Beatles' Apple Records to remaster and reissue back catalogue

Billy Preston, Jackie Lomax, James Taylor and Mary Hopkin albums are included in revamp

The Beatles' roster of Apple Records artists are set to have a selection of their albums remastered and re-released this October.

Acts including Mary Hopkin, Jackie Lomax and James Taylor are among those set to have their albums reissued on October 25. They were signed to the label by The Beatles after its launch in 1968.

More recently, Apple Records has been in the news after Liam Gallagher announced plans to work on a film about the label based on the memoirs of it's so-called 'house hippie' Richard DiLello.
