The Beatles will launch the vinyl release of their remastered studio albums with a double-decker bus shop.

The custom-made mobile record store will stop at Seventh Avenue in New York at 9:30am and the Capital Records building in Los Angeles at 2.30pm on November 13. The store will move to other locations in both cities throughout the day, reports Rolling Stone.

The bus will stock all 14 stereo LPs - the 12 UK originals and the B-sides and rarities collection Past Masters Volumes One & Two – and will be available individually or in a box set that includes a hardbound book.

In addition, The Beatles double-decker bus shop will also stock CD versions of the albums, DVD and Blu-ray copies of the newly restored Magical Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine films, and a unique t-shirt made exclusively for each city.

Last month, Paul McCartney said Yoko Ono did not split up The Beatles. The singer told David Frost, in a new interview to be aired this month, that her relationship with John Lennon was not the main reason why the band ended.

"She certainly didn't break the group up, the group was breaking up," said McCartney. "When Yoko came along, part of her attraction was her avant garde side, her view of things, so she showed him another way to be, which was very attractive to him. So it was time for John to leave, he was definitely going to leave one way or another."
