Abbey Road Studios are set to open their doors to the public.

The north London recording studio will be hosting talks in the iconic Studio Two, which was famously used by The Beatles, as well as by Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Adele and Oasis.

The events follow talks held in the studio earlier this year as part of the studio's 80th anniversary celebrations.

The next talks will take place in March 2013, and will again be hosted by Brian Kehew and Kevin Ryan, who were behind the book Recording The Beatles.

As well as a film score sync demonstration and vintage four-track mixing console and tape machine demonstration, attendees will also be shown how the iconic echo chamber works.

Rare photographs from the EMI and Abbey Road Studios archives will be on display, as will a host of vintage recording equipment as used by famous artists. There will also be an official photo opportunity.

The talks will take place March 8-10 and 15-17. Tickets cost £80.
