STAYIN' ALIVE

Veteran pop trio Sadehave been awarded CBEs by the Queen in her new year's Honour's list.

The three brothers Gibb will each be awarded the royal salute in recognition for their services to music.

UK soul singer [a][/a] is awarded an OBE. She is most famous for 80s hits including 'Smooth Operator' and 'You Love Is King'.

Other awards went to camptastic singer Barbara Dixon (OBE), famous for her roles in stage musicals and the man of a million jumpers and septuagenarian sex symbol Daniel O'Donnell

The recipients have yet to comment on the awards which are traditionally presented at Buckingham Palace.
