The Beep Seals to curate their own Manchester festival

The Beep Seals are to curate their own Manchester festival later this month.

The psyche-rockers will headline the Beepfest all day event, which will take place at the city's Deaf Institute on October 18

The festival will feature sets from Jim Noir, The Answering Machine, Magic Arm, Ten Bears, The Soundcarriers, The Junipers, Maladies Of Bellafontaine and Sea Devils.

The Basement Stage at the festival will be curated by Manchester literary night No Point In Not Being Friends and will host poetry, readings, comedy and acoustic slots by the likes of Stephen Fretwell, Liam Frost and John Stammers.
