The Big Pink have announced details of their second studio album 'Future This'.

The duo will release the album on January 16 next year and have confirmed that it will contain a total of 10 tracks, with the album's opening track 'Stay Gold' already released as a single. The record is the follow-up to the band's debut 'A Brief History Of Love', which was released in September 2009.

The band have recently revealed that the album's second track 'Hit The Ground (Superman)' takes a sample from Laurie Anderson’s classic 1981 art-pop and performance piece 'O Superman'.

The Big Pink will tour the UK in February, playing eight shows on the run. The dates kick off in Bristol at the Thekla on February 8 and run until February 18, when the band will headline Brighton's Digital venue.

The tracklisting for 'Future This' is as follows:

'Stay Gold'
'Hit The Ground (Superman)'
'Give It Up'
'The Palace'
'1313'
'Rubbernecking'
'Jump Music'
'Lose Your Mind'
'Future This'
'77'
