BLACK CROWE TO WED ALMOST FAMOUS ACTRESS

BLACK CROWES singer CHRIS ROBINSON is to wed actress KATE HUDSON on New Year's Eve, according to a report on the Wall Of Sound website.


The wedding is to take place in Aspen, Colorado, at a ranch owned by Hudson's mother, actress Goldie Hawn and her partner, actor Kurt Russell. Rumoured guests include Michael Douglas and his recent bride Catherine Zeta Jones and Mr and Mrs Chevy Chase.


Hudson appears in the Cameron Crowe movie Almost Famous, due for UK release in the Spring. Robinson is currently working on a new Crowes album and planning a Summer tour with Oasis.


Their wedding ceremony will be preceded by a fashion show of minks and sable, to be auctioned for relief of impoverished women in East Timor.
