The Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney married his long-term girlfriend over the weekend.

The sticksman tied the knot with girlfriend Emily Ward on Saturday (September 15) in the garden of their home in Nashville, Tennessee. The wedding had 350 guests, including Carney's bandmate Dan Auerbach, reports Billboard.

The pair walked down the aisle to Tommy James & the Shondells' track 'Crimson and Clover' and were accompanied by their Irish wolfhound Charlotte throughout the ceremony.

The wedding also featured a high profile arrest as Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, who was one of the guests, was arrested in the early hours of Sunday (September 16) after pulling a fire alarm and attempting to flee afterwards.

After pulling the alarm, White was chased until he stumbled and hit his head against a fence. He was then formally arrested on suspicion of vandalism and public intoxication and taken to a local hospital.

White has now issued a statement over the incident, writing: "I want to apologise for the unwise choices I made over the weekend and for any inconvenience it caused my family, friends, business partners, the hotel and their guests. I was celebrating a happy occasion with a ton of family and friends and got carried away. I'm truly sorry for my poor behaviour."

The Black Keys will return to the UK later this year for a full arena tour. They will kick off their six-date trek at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena on December 7, before playing Glasgow's SECC on November 8, Birmingham's NIA on December 9 and the Manchester Arena on December 11. The tour will conclude at London's O2 Arena on December 12 and 13.

The Black Keys will play:

Newcastle Arena (December 7)
Glasgow SECC (8)
Birmingham National Indoor Arena (9)
Manchester Arena (11)
London O2 Arena (12, 13)
