The Black Keys have had a burger named in their honour.

The duo have inspired The Akron Burger, which is available at branches of US high-end burger joint, Umami Burger, reports Pitchfork. The burger consists of an all-beef patty topped with Velveeta - a smooth processed American cheese brand - fondue, secret sauce, yellow mustard, chopped onions and pickles. $1 from the sale of each burger will go to The Black Keys Alfred McMoore Memorial Endowment Fund. The burger is named after the Nashville-based band's hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Last year Animal Collective had a pizza named after them. The band's tribute slice was served by Two Boots, a hip Stateside pizza chain, who already made a pizza named after Slayer as well as pizzas that pay titular homage to Dr. John and jazzman Charlie Parker. Two Boots also recently named a pizza after The Pizza Underground, Macaulay Culkin's pizza themed Velvet Underground covers band.

The Black Keys will play Glastonbury Festival next weekend, on Sunday night (June 29) on the Pyramid Stage ahead of Kasabian. They will also headline Latitude Festival in July.

The band released 'Turn Blue', the follow-up 2011's 'El Camino', earlier this year. It was produced by Danger Mouse alongside Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney and recorded at Sunset Sound in Hollywood last summer as well as at the Key Club in Benton Harbor, Michigan at the start of 2013.
