Black Keys, Cat Power for Woody Guthrie tribute
The Black Keys, Cat Power, Sheryl Crow and Sun Volt are among the bands performing at a tribute to folk pioneer Woody Guthrie and American author John Steinbeck.

'A Tribute To John Steinbeck, Woody Guthrie And The American Spirit' will take place on September 20 at the Sleep Train Pavilion at Concord in San Francisco.

The event will feature an exhibit of historical artefacts and rare video footage from the Guthrie and Steinbeck archives, including Guthrie's original lyrics, artwork and photographs, and signed first editions of Steinbeck's novels.

Henry Rollins will also give a spoken word performance at the event.

Each of the artists performing at This Land Is Your Land were handpicked by organizers for their dedication to social activism, environmental causes and human rights.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to benefit the Food Bank of Contra Costa.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at Livenation.com.
