Black Keys to record with ZZ Top and Rick Rubin
The recording sessions will be for a ZZ Top album
The recording sessions will be for the forthcoming new Rubin-produced, blues-rock-based ZZ Top album, reports Billboard.
"Billy came to our show in Columbus, Ohio, and played us some new songs," said Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach. "But this will be the first time we've gotten together in a musical way.
"There are so many people who love them and what they did."
Gibbons said that he was looking forward to the prospect of working with the band because they are "down and dirty, which is good for ZZ Top."
