Black Keys at T In The Park: 'Playing with Kings Of Leon was overwhelming'

Plus duo reveal they're lining up a new type of collaboration with Danger Mouse

The Black Keys have said their recent show with Kings Of Leon at Hyde Park in London was "overwhelming" due to its huge size.

The pair – Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney – were speaking to NME backstage at T In The Park in a video interview you can watch on the right now.

"We've only done the one gig at Hyde Park… that was overwhelming," declared Carney,. "We're going out with them [Kings Of Leon] for three weeks in September so that should be good. We're visiting different cities in the US where they make different novelty chocolate products."

The duo also spoke about Danger Mouse, who produced their 2008 album 'Attack & Release' album, and 'Tighen Up' from their recent release 'Brothers'. However, the pair hinted they may be doing something different with him future.

"We will do something with him, but I don't know if we will do more stuff with him as a producer since we've already done that," said Carney. "But we'll definitely work with him again in some capacity."
