THE BLUETONES have been forced to cancel their scheduled concert tonight at Guildford Civic Hall.
Singer Mark Morriss has developed a severe throat problem, causing him to lose his voice. He is currently undergoing specialist treatment in order to complete other tour dates.
A spokesperson for The Bluetones says that the band are hoping to be able to play tomorrow (Saturday, March 28) night's show at London Shepherd's Bush Empire, although at 6pm Friday no confirmation on that gig going ahead could be given.
The band's spokesperson says that tickets for tonight's Guildford concert are valid for the re-scheduled date on May 4 at the same venue.
