SETTING 'TONE FOR GLASTO

THE BLUETONES are to play a warm-up show in preparation for their appearance at this year's GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL.

According to the band's official website, www.bluetones.co.uk, the band will play a one-off date at the 400-capacity Oxford Zodiac club on June 22, the day before they play this year's Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm, Pilton (June 23). Tickets for the Oxford date cost #10 by cash or #11 by credit card, and are available from the Oxford Zodiac Box Office on 01865 420042.

In addition to their appearance at Glastonbury, the band are also confirmed to play at the T In The Park Festival at Balado, near Kinross, Scotland (July 8) as well as main stage appearances at the Carling Weekend Festivals in Reading (August 25) and Leeds (28).
