The Bluetones are set to play their acclaimed 1996 album 'Expecting To Fly' in its entirety on the forthcoming UK tour.

The band will perform the whole of their debut record, which spawned a Number Two hit ('Slight Return'), at UK dates in December.

Manchester Academy 2 (10)
Sheffield Leadmill (11)
Birmingham Academy (12)
London Astoria (19)

Class album from one of the better bands from the Britpop era.

As much as I like a lot of their later material, this was their finest moment and, I feel, a really underrated album.

But wheres a Scottish date. The bluetones are much loved up this way. A night back at the Barrowlands, with the blue flashing lights, and coming on stage to "Poison", would make a good christmas present
