Quite literally, folks...The Bluetones will be joining them...

BLUE IS THE COLOUR

THE BLUETONES are to support THE BEAUTIFUL SOUTH on their forthcoming UK tour.

As previously announced on NME.COM, The Beautiful South have announced details of a UK tour which starts on December 8 at the SECC in Glasgow. The Bluetones will support on all shows with the exception of their date at the Sheffield Arena (December 15).

A spokesperson for the Bluetones told NME.COM that the dates are a way for the band, who have just returned from Japan to "end the year". She added that they will return next year with new material, as they have been writing while on tour.

The Beautiful South will release a new single to coincide with the dates. The double A-side, 'The River'/'Just Checkin'' will be released on December 11 through Go! Disks, and will feature two new songs, 'Valentines Day Wank' and 'Little Chef' across the formats.
