The Bravery return to New York stage

The band play hometown show

The Bravery returned to the New York live circuit this week - and previewed five new songs for the crowd.

Taking to the stage at Webster Hall on Wednesday (November 29), they played a string of tracks from their debut album, interspersed with brand new tracks from as-yet unreleased ‘The Sun And The Moon’, including ‘Believe’, ‘Bad Sun’, ‘Every Word Is A Knife in My Ear’ and the Motown-inspired ‘Angelina’.

Despite many technical difficulties, the slightly more rock-sounding new tracks went over well with the crowd although the band were far from happy with the show.

Speaking to NME.COM, singer Sam Endicott explained: "It was horrible. Every piece of equipment broke. It was one of those shows where every fucking thing broke, I don’t know what was going on. When it happens you don’t sound as well as you should and you don’t perform as well, because you’re totally rattled."
