ROCK 'N' ROLL STARS - AND STRIPES!
Kim Deal & Co play their first London gig in eight years...
White Stripes turned up to see Breeders first LONDON appearance since 1994 last night at a secret gig before 200 fans at the WATER RATS (April 24).
The band, led by former Pixies star Kim Deal and her sister Kelley, treated fans to highlights from their first LP in nine years, 'Title TK', released on May 21 through 4AD. The partisan crowd, which included White Stripes' Jack and Meg White and Primal Scream's Kevin Shields, were also treated to a host of classics drawn from the group's career, including 'Cannonball', 'Divine Hammer', 'Doe' and 'Fortunately Gone'.
[a][/a] return to Camber Sands Holiday Centre this weekend (April 26-28) for the second leg of the All Tomorrow's Parties festival, having played a rapturously received set there last Saturday (April 20).
