The Charlatans to headline London festival

The Charlatans are set to headline the opening day of Ben And Jerry's Sundae On The Common

The band will top the bill on at the south London bash on July 26, joining the likes of Ash, who are headlining on the second day (27).

Along with The Charlatans, Guillemots, Delays, Charlotte Hatherley, Florence And The Machine, Brightlights and The Troubadours will also play the Saturday.

"I am really excited at the prospect at playing at this years Ben And Jerry’s festival, it has it all," declared The Charlatans Tim Burgess. "The weather, the line-up and the atmosphere. The band have wanted to play there for a while now but due to other commitments we were unable to, so we are glad to finally be getting the opportunity this summer!"
