CHEMICAL BROTHERS' NEW 'GUITAR' DIRECTION

'Star Guitar' is a taster for the duo's new LP 'Come With Us'...

THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS are set to kick off the New Year with a new single.

The duo will release 'Star Guitar' on January 14, ahead of the late January appearance of new album 'Come With Us'.

'Star Guitar', lifted from the album, follows 'It Began In Afrika', the track released reluctantly by the pair earlier in the autumn. 'It Began In Afrika' was intended initially as a white label DJ promo but proved so popular it went Top Ten in the UK on its full release.

'Come With Us', The Chemical Brothers' follow-up to 1999's 'Surrender' includes 'The Test', which features ex-Verve ex-vocalist Richard Ashcroft, and 'The State We're In', with long-time collaborator Beth Orton.

A provisional tracklisting for the album runs:
'Come With Us'
'It Began In Afrika'
'Galaxy Bounce'
'Star Guitar'
'Hoops'
'My Elastic Eye'
'The State Were In'
'Denmark'
'Pioneer Skies'
'The Test'
