PLACEBO, Travis, Theaudience, Eagle-Eye Cherry and Lynden David Hall have been added to the bill at V99 which takes place in Chelmsford and Staffordshire on August 21 and 22.
They join a bill topped by Suede, Cast, The Manic Street Preachers and Gomez.
Other festival additions include The Chemical Brothers, Mansun, Silverchair, Space, Echo & The Bunnymen, 3 Colours Red and Idlewild have been confirmed for Reading (August 27-29) and Leeds 99 (28-30). Pearl Jam, however, posted a message on their web site to say that despite earlier reports, they would not be headlining at Reading because they are working on their new album.
Meanwhile, Stereophonics have been added to the T In The Park bill with Cast, Eminem, Tom Jones and Placebo still to confirm. Tickets are available from nme.com's 24-hour ticketline on 0870 121 0125 or click here to go to our online gig guide and ticket service.
