CHEMICAL K-OS!

K-os teams up with the boys...

THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS are to record a track with Canadian hip-hop artist K-OS.

The two acts will be on a song provisionally titled 'Black Mind State'. The song is tipped to appear on The Chemical Brothers's next album. The follow-up to 2002's 'Come With Us' is due for release sometime in 2004.

Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons approached K-os, AKA Kheaven Brereton, after they listened to his 2002 album, 'Exit'.

The rapper told Burnitblue.com that the song is reminiscent of Afrika Bambaataa's [a][/a]-sampled classic 'Planet Rock'.

Brereton usually performs live with just a guitarist and tabla player.
