THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS are to return in the new year with their first studio album in three years.

'Push The Button', the follow-up to 2002's 'Come With Us', will be released on January 24. It's preceded by a single, 'Galvanise', featuring the rapper Q-Tip, on January 17.

'Galvanise' described as "a full-blooded pulsing dancefloor anthem," according to the band's website, thechemicalbrothers.com.

The band describe 'Push The Button' as "an immense and brooding album that looks set to once again revitalise dance music into 2005 and beyond, marking more than ten years of relevance in clubland."
