CLASH BACK!

Mick Jones and Joe Strummer send fans into dreamland by belting out a string of their old band's classics...

MICK JONES and JOE STRUMMER have staged mini-Clash reunion at a charity show in LONDON.

Strummer and the Mescaleros played a show for the Fire Brigades Union at London Acton Town Hall (November 15).

The Fire Brigade in the UK are currently locked in a bitter pay dispute, and are undertaking a series of strikes in an attempt to increase their wages.

At the show, Strummer, who also performs Clash songs during his set, was joined by Jones for an encore of the classic tracks 'Bankrobber', 'White Riot' and 'London's Burning'. NME.COM understands the pair haven't performed on the same stage since the mid-80s.

An eyewitness told NME.COM: "It was like being taken back to the '70s. There were speakers from the Fire Brigades Union, and the Clash songs sounded timeless."

The Clash are rumoured to be planning on reforming for a day, when they are inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in the US next March.
