Clash have won the GODLIKE GENIUS AWARD at this year's NME CARLING AWARDS.

The surviving members of the band - Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon - were present at Po Na Na in Hammersmith, West London today (February 13) to get their award from Kate Moss and Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie.

The band stated their opposition to the potential conflict in Iraq, and paid tribute to late frontman Joe Strummer. They were given a standing ovation by the crowd.
